The course will enable learners to competently apply effective communication skills to clarify and respond to information received.
Learning Outcome (LO)
LO1 Learners will be able to perform tasks based on information received
LO2 Learners will be able to respond according to social and cultural backgrounds of customers.
LO3 Learners will be able to communicate effectively when performing activities to clarify and respond accordingly
With competencies in effective communication skills to create positive results, learners are able to apply appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication to respond to that will take into consideration of their cultural and social information etc.
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
• Aged 21 years and above.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of work experience in beauty and personal care industry.
SOQ shall counsel and advise applicants without experience to look for jobs in the beauty and personal care industry and work to gain relevant experience for at least 1 year before taking up the course. Otherwise, it will be difficult to apply the skills and competencies learnt.
• Possess some knowledge about beauty and personal care products such as cosmetics, skin care and beauty and personal treatments.
• Education level of at least Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 3 or its equivalent.
• SOQ shall counsel and advise applicants without meeting the education, literacy and numeracy requirement that they may not be able to comprehend the content, keep up pace of training and/or cope with assessment conducted. Where necessary, unsuitable applicants will be discouraged from enrolling in the programme.
