About This Course
To equip retail service staff with the essential skills and competencies to identify global trends and changes impacting the workplace, as well as undertake lifelong learning to adapt to changes for sustained employability in the new knowledge economy.
Learning Units:
LU1: Current Issues, trends, approaches and strategies for the organization
- LO1 To determine and evaluate issues and trends that may affect the organisation’s competitiveness locally and globally and its implications on one’s job and organisation
- LO2 To analyse and adopt suitable approaches and develop strategies for organisation to adapt to change.
LU2 Organisations’ learning systems and infrastructure
- LO3 To establish and evaluate organisations’ systems for facilitating transfer of knowledge and skills and learning opportunities, resources and knowledge management infrastructure
LU3 Organisational effectiveness
- LO4 Manage and synergise diversity for organisational effectiveness
LU4 Training development needs and learning style analysis
- LO5 To conduct training and development needs analysis to set learning goals for self and organsation
- LO6 To conduct learning style analysis to ensure effective acquisition and transfer of knowledge and skills within the organisation
What You'll Learn

Entry Requirements
• Be above 18 years of age to 65 years of age
• Have an understanding of the organisation’s product and service offering
• Have an understanding of the organisation’s structure, standard operating procedures and guidelines on a relevant area of work.
• Be able to listen, read, speak and write English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification Literacy Level 5.
