About This Course
(SCTP) Career Diploma in Pastry & Bakery programme will equip the learners with:
a) critical thinking and managerial work function skills that will allow them to acquire and broaden advanced level skills & knowledge in pastry & baking management. This will in turn help course participants to build strong managerial competencies for working effectively and efficiently in the restaurants and other pastry & bakery production environment.
b) skills and knowledge to close the existing industry skills gap and match their future job roles in the food service sector.
c) transferable skills that they would need to work better and function effectively in their career in the food services sector.

Entry Requirements
Academic Level Required:
Singaporean / Singapore PR Applicants:• At least 21 years old and has the intention to join the F&B industry upon graduation from the programme for participants under the SCTP pathway. Obtained at least three (3) GCE 'O' Level credits (including English);AND; International Applicants:• At least 17 yrs of age; Obtained at least a pass at high school diploma or equivalent qualifications; Completed/Exempted from National Service (for Singaporean males only).
Language Proficiency:
Obtained at least an IELTS score of 5.5 / TOEFL (internet-based total) score of 46-59 / WPL Level 5;
Minimum Age Required:
17
