Introduction

Fairfield Methodist School (Secondary) is an autonomous, government-aided Methodist mission school with a distinguished history. The school is dedicated to providing a holistic education within a Christian environment, with a mission to nurture leaders of good character who are equipped to serve God and the nation. Its ethos is guided by its motto, "Pure, Upright, Undefiled."

A Brief Historical Background

Founded in 1888 by Miss Sophia Blackmore as the Telok Ayer Girls' School, it was renamed Fairfield Methodist Secondary School in 1983 when it became co-educational and moved to its current Dover Road campus. The school was granted autonomous status in 1996.
