Fairfield Methodist School (Secondary) is an autonomous, government-aided Methodist mission school with a distinguished history. A Brief Historical Background

Founded in 1888 by Miss Sophia Blackmore as the Telok Ayer Girls' School, it was renamed Fairfield Methodist Secondary School in 1983 when it became co-educational and moved to its current Dover Road campus. The school was granted autonomous status in 1996.
