Peiying Primary School is a government school dedicated to nurturing students to become confident persons, self-directed learners, and concerned citizens. The school's history can be traced back to 1919 with the establishment of Fa Chu School. After a merger in 1941, it became Poi Eng Public School, and was renamed Peiying Primary School in 1987 when it became a government school.
