POI CHING SCHOOL

Poi Ching School is a government-aided school affiliated with the Singapore Buddhist Federation, with a rich heritage in promoting Chinese culture and values. The school's vision is to be a premier institution that nurtures students of exemplary character who are bilingual and bicultural. Its educational philosophy is guided by its motto, "To Encompass All Beings with Great Compassion."

The school provides a holistic education grounded in Buddhist values, with a strong emphasis on character development and bilingualism. Founded in 1919 by Reverend Kwok Koh Mou, Poi Ching School started as a Chinese-medium school on Victoria Street.
