Introduction

Victoria School is an autonomous government school for boys with a rich and distinguished history. The school is committed to nurturing every student to be a "Gentleman, Professional and Sportsman," guided by its motto, "Nil Sine Labore" (Nothing Without Labour), and a strong emphasis on character and leadership.

A Brief Historical Background

Victoria School was established in 1876 as an English class for 12 Malay boys at Kampong Glam Malay School. In 1900, the school moved and was renamed Victoria Bridge School. It became a secondary school in 1931 and was renamed Victoria School in 1933.
