Introduction

Xinmin Secondary School is an autonomous government school with a long history, dedicated to nurturing students to be lifelong learners and responsible citizens. The school's vision is to be a vibrant community of learners and leaders, guided by its core values of integrity, responsibility, respect, resilience, and care.

The school provides a holistic education that balances academic rigour with character development. It offers an Applied Learning Programme (ALP) in design, technology, and engineering, which fosters creativity and problem-solving skills. Its Learning for Life Programme (LLP) focuses on character and leadership development through the arts, providing a platform for creative expression and personal growth.

A Brief Historical Background

The school was founded as Sin Min School in 1945. In 1987, the secondary section was separated and renamed Xinmin Secondary School. It gained autonomous status in 2001.
