Introduction

Yusof Ishak Secondary School is a government school named in honour of Singapore's first president, committed to nurturing students to be lifelong learners and responsible citizens. The school was established in 1965 as Jubilee Integrated Secondary School and was renamed Yusof Ishak Secondary School in 1966. It is the only school in Singapore to be named after a president.
