The course aims to:? extend participants' understanding of key areas of grammar which are most frequently used in business and professional communication? raise awareness of common grammatical errors made by non-native speakers of EL? improve participants' ability to express themselves correctly and appropriately in a range of professional tasks such as email writing, report writing, making presentations, participating at meetings and negotiations? provide participants with guidelines for writing clear and effective sentences and for avoiding common sentence errors? develop participants' ability to edit their own writing for errors in grammar and usage? introduce participants to strategies and resources for improving their command of EL grammar The course adopts an interactive approach and provides intensive grammar practice in a range of professional tasks both spoken and written.
