About This Course

On completion of the module, students should be able to set up and operate centre lathes and CNC lathes to produce components in accordance with given specifications.

In this course, students will acquire the skills and knowledge to manufacture aerospace components, using the state-of-the-art machines and software to monitor precision machine operations, as well as perform quality checks.

Entry Requirements

•GCE 'O' Level Grades (Grade 1-8) in any two subjects; or
•3 GCE 'N' Level Passes (Grade A-D or Grade 1-5) in Mathematics or Science and two other subjects; or
•Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking and Listening, and Level 4 in Reading and Numeracy.
