About This Course
The learning objective of the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Social Service is to train Social Work Associate / Programme Coordinator trainee to deliver effective support services to vulnerable individuals with professionalism. On top of that, he/she will coordinate and conduct programmes to suit the needs of the clients.
With the practical phase at the end of each module, it consolidates the learning and translates to practice in targeted and specific areas which will be relevant and current to the learners’ job tasks and responsibilities.

Module 8: Ethics, Values and Legislation (SSC-PVE-3010-1.1)
Module 9: Case and Care Planning (SSC-CAR-3008-1.1)
Module 10: Casework Evaluation (SSC-PPR-3002-1.1)
Module 11: Collaborative Practices Across Disciplines and Sectors (SSC-PPR-3007-1.1)
This course will be delivered by Hua Mei Training Academy, a division of Tsao Foundation.
Entry Requirements
The required skills and knowledge for this course are as follows:
• Minimum GCE O’ Level / Diploma and/or able to read, write, listen and speak of English to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4; and count to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 4
• Able to operate a personal desktop computer / laptop with Level 2 basic computing and applications skills
• Be motivated to learn and possess positive attitude towards work and commitments.
• Have interest in community and social work.
