About This Course
This course aims to satisfy the industry needs of skilled workforce in the areas of concept art for the following sectors: Games, Animation, Visual Effects, Education (Training and Development), Art and Design, Marketing, Media.
As with all professions, visual artists have specialized tools including computer programs and digital devices as well as traditional tools such as paint brushes, paper, and pencils. We use these to express ourselves, communicate ideas, or provide marketing and public relations support. We will learn to use software to effectively communicate and express ideas visually. It is important for a learner to have a stronger foundation before designing a character or environment. As more and more people play games, gaming industry is looking for highly skilled people to design and develop this game specifically on the pre-production (Concept) of games.

• Start-up, log on, and shut down a computer system properly

• Identify common types of file extensions (e.g. doc, docx, pdf, html, jpg, gif, xls, ppt, pptx, rtf, txt, exe)
• Check how much space is left on a drive or other storage device
