Machinery Maintenance
About This Course
On completion of this module, students should be able to maintain and service bearings and basic engineering mechanisms, lubrication systems and mechanical transmission systems; lift and move heavy loads safely. Students are also trained to maintain, troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment.

Entry Requirements
• Completed GCE 'O' Level; or
• Completed GCE 'N' Level; or
• Passed BEST Module 4 Mathematics (for those with work experience); or
• Passed ISC in Mechanical Servicing; or
• Passed ISC in Shielded Metal Arc Welding; or
• Passed ISC in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding; or
• Accumulated at least 60 hours of structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) under the Certified On-the-Job Training Centre (COJTC) system. The OJT must be relevant to the course applied for; or
• Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking and Listening, and Level 4 in Reading and Numeracy.
