About This Course
This course aims to provide participants with a vendor agnostic knowledge on the evolution of 5G technology and the requirements as we enter 5G. Participants will gain an understanding of 5G RAN concepts, primary key technology areas, its architecture, requirements and applications, benefits and deployment scenario.
What You'll Learn
In collaboration with 5G industry leader Ericsson, this 5G course will give participants a vendor agnostic understanding of the fundamental of radio concepts associated with the new radio access. Participants will understand terms like “flexible numerology” and “dynamic TDD” and what they mean and how fixed wireless access work in a 5G network. This course introduces participants with deep skills for planning and performing 5G network design. Tapping on Ericsson’s local and worldwide experiences, the course will include up-to-date use case examples and applications of 5G RAN deployments both locally and overseas. Participants will receive first-hand experience on 5G with practical hands-on sessions on a live 5G network.
