About This Course
At the end of the Specialist Diploma in Data Protection and AI Governance (NSPAI), participants will be able to:
• Develop and review a Data Protection Management Programme (DPMP) that covers policies and processes.
• Identify, assess and address business risks and design data breach management based on the organisation’s functions, needs and processes.
• Communicate to stakeholders on matters relating to data protection policies and processes.
• Establish compliance processes related to data protection requirements.
• Establish ethical principles and how to design a plan for data governance structures to support data protection and innovation.
• Apply the Model AI Government Framework when organisation uses data-driven technologies such as artificial intelligence.
• Facilitate the implementation of data innovation and understand responsible use of data for innovation through design thinking process.

Entry Requirements
Students enrolled in the Specialist Diploma in Data Protection and AI Governance (SDPAI) must satisfy at least one of the following entry requirements:
• Applicants should have a Polytechnic Diploma/Degree
• Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may apply for admission to the course by producing evidence of at least 2 years relevant working experience or supporting information to ascertain their competency readiness in Data Protection.
