About This Course
To provide training in Data Protection including developing a Data Protection Management Programme, addressing business risks, managing cyber and data breach incidents and developing stakeholder engagement plan.
To provide training in Data Innovation including modules such as Data Governance, Audit and Compliance processes, Data Ethics, Data Sharing, Data-Driven Design Thinking and AI Governance. Specifically, for data-driven design thinking, the course equip students to design and build innovative digital solutions incorporating good data protection practices.

Entry Requirements
Students enrolled in the Specialist Diploma in Data Protection and AI Governance (SDPAI) must satisfy at least one of the following entry requirements:
• Applicants should have a Polytechnic Diploma/Degree
• Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may apply for admission to the course by producing evidence of at least 2 years relevant working experience or supporting information to ascertain their competency readiness in Data Protection.
