About This Course
The Advanced Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences course is a 600-hour part-time course comprising of three compulsory modular post-diploma certificates and one prescribed elective post-diploma certificate. They are :
1. Post-Diploma Certificate in Patient Care Services (Compulsory) -150 hrs
2. Post-Diploma Certificate in Dispensary Services (Compulsory) - 150 hrs
3. Post-Diploma Certificate in Pharmacy Operations (Compulsory) - 150 hrs
4. Post-Diploma Certificate in Technical Services (Prescribed) - 150 hrs
5. Post-Diploma Certificate in Pharmacy Automation (Prescribed) - 150 hrs
6. Post-Diploma Certificate in Community Pharmacy (Prescribed) - 150 hrs
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
The minimum entry requirement is:
• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science(s)/ Pharmacy Science from a local polytechnic.
• For participants who do not hold the aforementioned qualification, they must possess a diploma, passed the Certified Pharmacy Technician Course (CPTC) conducted by the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore (PSS) and have at least 2 years of relevant working experience (i.e. working in a pharmacy as a pharmacy assistant / pharmacy technician).
Applicants who do not have the necessary educational qualifications but have substantial relevant working experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
