What You'll Learn
The company will sponsor these challenge areas with a lightly defined problem area. Subsequently, the problem area will be analysed in order to arrive at a more defined problem question. This problem question will be explored during the course of the programme. This method is to avoid the incessant pitfall of having predefined solutions look for poorly defined problems. In this course, solutions are often omni-channel and multi-faceted. Solutions will focus on the cyclical experience of stakeholders, users or customers. These applied solutions may be, but are not limited to, business models, immersive spatial environments, digital interfaces, etc. Through multiple consultations with various experts, the innovation project team will triangulate to a series of solutions.
The programme cuts across sectors and applies as long there is a human and organizational interface. As the programme is based on Design Thinking and Innovation principles, the CARDS programme provides a studio environment to unearth challenges from any industry. In a nutshell, CARDS is relevant across all service-based sectors.
The programme will equip mid-career individuals, including those in employment, with the right skills to make career transitions in sectors such as Food Services, Health, Community Care etc. Upon completion of the course, there will be placement facilitation services available.
