About This Course
The course aims to introduce learners to the new 5G security framework from standard security body like 3GPP TS standard, GSMA and Cybersecurity best practices. Learner will understand the various components that formed the end-to-end mobile 5G network from mobile equipment, radio access, mobile edge application to cloud native 5G core. The design consideration and placement of cybersecurity devices like firewall, IPS, security gateway and their function in a 5G mobile network would be discussed. The course will finally cover the current 5G mobile subscription plan with security consideration.
What You'll Learn
This course (5G Security) will provide learners with an overview of the current evolution of 5G mobile network and its security design consideration. 5G Mobile network adopted a cloud base design both in the application edge and in the mobile core which potentially give rise to a much larger attack surface and new vulnerabilities also arises with the adoption of HTTP2 protocol in information exchange between core functional modules and inter carrier communications.
