What You'll Learn
The Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (CVA) programme is the first professional business valuation certification programme in Asia benchmarked against international standards set by the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC). It provides a structured and formalised pathway aimed at raising the ethics and professionalism among professionals who are involved in various transactions, equity and investments, financial reporting and litigation and arbitration, etc. who may need to conduct business valuation as part of their job function.
The CVA Programme consists of 5 modules (M1 to M4 and a Capstone) and offers 2 learning pathways to suit the needs of different learners. Leaners can choose either the structured classroom mode or the self-study mode (learn at your own time and place).
In Module 3, participants will gain a working knowledge of the in-depth application of various valuation approaches e.g. the market, income and asset-based approaches, their relevant methodologies and the valuation parameters. Technical and practical issues of the applications will also be discussed.

Admission Criteria:
- A degree or equivalent in any field from a recognised institution.
- Some basic knowledge of accounting and finance is recommended
