About This Course

On completion of the module, students should be able to apply their knowledge and skills in computer vision (CV). They should be able to acquire and process digital images by applying computer vision techniques. Students should also be able to analyse CV applications requirement, prepare CV application hardware and software, as well as to perform AI project such as drones and autonomous robot car .

Computer Vision (AI4003FP) is one of the modules leading to HIGHER NITEC IN TECHNOLOGY - AI APPLICATIONS.

Entry Requirements

3 GCE ‘O’ Level Grades:
o Grade 1 - 8 in English Language
o Grade 1 - 7 in Mathematics (Elementary or Additional)
o Grade 1 - 8 in Science-related subjects.

Nitec graduates with GPA of at least 2.3 may apply for progression to the first year of Higher Nitec in AI Applications.


For CET training mode, in addition to the above entry requirements, following are also allowed:
o Nitec in Services/Technology qualifications
o Nitec qualifications
