About This Course
By the end of this course learners will be able to:
1. Understand what it means to use Excel Macros and the draw backs of controlling workflow or data with a Macro
2. Design a workflow controlled by Macro
3. Develop a Macro based on business needs
4. Troubleshoot Macro errors and enhance the user experience
They will also be equipped with understanding of:
1. Understand the built-in functions of Excel
2. Able to use the built-in functions of Excel
3. Able to interpret the additional functions required in Excel
4. Able to conceptualise new workflows in Excel
What You'll Learn
VBA stands for Visual Basic Analysis. Excel VBA is Microsoft's programming language for Office applications such as MS-Excel, MS-Word, and MS-Access. Macros are what most people who write VBA code use.
Entry Requirements
The learner should have at least GCE ‘N’ level holder. Those without GCE certification should minimally possess WSQ Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 5.
Prior work experience is not required. However it is strongly recommended that learners have an advanced understanding and use of Microsoft Excel.
