About This Course
1. Prepare workstations, kitchen tools and equipment to be ready before start of cooking
2. Prepare food ingredients needed for cooking
3. Follow the recipes and demonstrate cooking techniques for dry-heat dim sum
4. Store ingredients and finished products safely and to reinstate workstations
What You'll Learn
Upon completion of the course, learners will gain the knowledge and abilities to prepare baked dim sum dishes and understand their cultural significance. Learners will be familiar with the ingredients and cooking techniques for creating popular dry-heat dim sum dishes such as egg tarts, char siew sou, wife biscuit and pots sticker.
Entry Requirements
• 18 years old and above
• Primary education level
• Workplace Literacy & Numeracy level: At least level 2 (listening/speaking and reading/writing)
