About This Course

a) Apply gerontological concepts to develop individualised care plans for older adults

What You'll Learn

The course aims to provide enhanced training for support care workers such as Program Executive, Care Coordinator and Social Work Associate in order for them to perform proficiently in an increasingly dynamic roles in community care sector.

Entry Requirements

• either 3 relevant ‘O’ Level passes and 1 year of relevant working experience
• OR NITEC with GPA ≥3.5 OR GPA ≥3.0 and 1 year of relevant working experience
• OR Higher NITEC with GPA ≥2.0 OR GPA ≥1.5 and 1 year of relevant working experience
• OR NITEC in Services/Technology with GPA ≥3.5 and 1 year of relevant working experience
• OR Higher NITEC in Services/Technology GPA ≥2.0 and 1 year of relevant working experience
• OR Relevant WSQ Qualification with 1 year of relevant working experience and WSQ Workplace Literary SOA (Level 6) AND Workplace Numeracy SOA (Level 6)
• OR Without relevant academic qualifications with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
