About This Course
This 9-day course comprises 4-day lab training, to be conducted at Nanyang Polytechnic, followed by 5-day practical training, to be conducted at a Company. Learners will be equipped with understanding machining processes and basic conventional machining skills to perform in manufacturing related operations. This course offers basic induction into precision engineering that supports the Industry 4.0 ecosystem. The programme adopts a hands-on approach which is well appreciated by the Precision Engineering Industry and well suited for mid-career workers and/or any kinesthetics learners.
What You'll Learn
This course introduces basic machining processes for precision components. It focuses on the cutting processes, and machining parameters for turning, milling and grinding operations.
