About This Course
The proposed curriculum includes 8 modules:
1. Agile Fundamentals & Mindset: Covers foundational principles and values of Agile methodologies, including understanding the Agile Manifesto, 12 Agile Principles, and the mindset shift for agility in project management and product development.
2. Scrums & Sprints: Explores the Scrum framework, emphasizing effective scrum teams and delivering within Sprints.
3. Agile Roles: Examines various roles within Agile teams, detailing responsibilities and expectations for roles like Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Development Team members. Emphasizes collaboration and effective communication among these roles.
4. Epics, Product Features & Backlogs: Teaches breaking down project requirements into manageable components, covering creation of Epics, defining Product Features, and crafting User Stories to guide development and facilitate communication.
5. Estimation: Focuses on Agile estimation techniques, exploring methods like story points, planning poker, and relative sizing to estimate effort for User Stories. Aims to develop a shared understanding of team capacity and improve release planning accuracy.
6. Kick Start the Sprint: Addresses practical aspects of preparing for a Sprint, covering Sprint 0 activities in preparing the product backlog for a well-organized start.
7. Roadmap Planning: Explores techniques for aligning Agile development with organizational goals, including creating and maintaining Agile roadmaps, prioritizing features, managing dependencies, and adapting to changes in business priorities.
8. Sprint Ceremonies & Artefacts: Covers various ceremonies and artifacts in Agile development, such as Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and Daily Stand-ups. Participants gain insights into the purpose and value of artifacts like burndown charts, velocity, and the Definition of Done.
