About This Course
The Diploma in IT Infrastructure and Operations aims to equip the trainees with advanced knowledge and skills in managing and optimising IT infrastructure. It consists of eight structured and progressive modules, including a capstone project.
1. The IT Infrastructure and Operations module is designed to equip trainees with the extensive knowledge and skills necessary to lead and innovate in the field of IT Infrastructure and Operations.
2. The Enterprise Architecture and Design module allow trainees to develop advanced diagnostic skills, practical problem-solving methodologies, collaborative learning experiences, and effective communication in the realm of enterprise architecture.
3. The Infrastructure Planning and Optimisation module focus on equipping trainees with a deep understanding and practical skills essential for strategically planning, designing, and optimising robust and efficient IT infrastructures.
4. The IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity module allow trainees to develop diagnostic skills essential for effectively managing and responding to IT-related disruptions.
5. The Advanced IT Security and Cybersecurity module aim to build trainees’ ability to examine the five stages of ethical hacking and the terminology of the Cyber Kill Chain methodology.
6. The IT Project Management module focus on the process, methodologies, and techniques for a range of project management activities within the IT contexts.
7. The IT Infrastructure Automation and Orchestration module cover a range of essential topics, from the basics of automation and orchestration to advanced techniques in scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and configuration management.
8. The Capstone Project: Audit or Design IT Infrastructure module aim to equip the trainees with the essential skills and knowledge to conduct a thorough vulnerability assessment and penetration testing for a designated small business or organisation.

Entry Requirements
Academic Level Required:
Advanced Certificate in IT Infrastructure and Operations
Language Proficiency:
Obtain at least C6 for GCE O level English or IELTS overall band score of at least 6.0 or equivalent.
Minimum Age Required:
17
