About This Course
The Higher Nitec in Technology - Electronics Engineering (IoT & Communications) aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge to install, configure, test and maintain sensors devices and controllers to support the Internet-of-Things (IoT) architecture platform.
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
3 GCE ‘O’ Level Grades:
(i) Grade 1-8 in English Language;
(ii) Grade 1-7 in Math (Elementary/Additional);
(iii) Grade 1-8 in one of the approved SCIENCE subjects.
OR
Nitec in Technology qualifications;or
Nitec qualifications (Technical Skills);or
WPLN Level 5 in Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing and Numeracy, and one year relevant work experience;or
Completed four Foundation modules

Applicants who do not meet the above entry requirements will need to complete Foundation modules before taking Core/Specialisation modules.
Entry requirements for Foundation modules:
2 GCE 'O' Level Grades (Grade 1-8) in any two subjects; or
3 GCE 'N' Level Passes (Grade A-D or Grade 1-5) in Math or Science and two other subjects;or
Passed ISC/CoC in Electronics Manufacturing;or
Passed ISC/CoC in Wafer Fabrication; or
WPLN Level 5 in Speaking and Listening, and Level 4 in Reading and Numeracy.
Applicants must be free from colour appreciation deficiency.
