On completion of the module, students should be able to determine the value of stock, prepare Trial Balance, Bank Reconciliation, Statement of Comprehensive Income and Statement of Financial Position.

Entry Requirements
3 GCE ‘O’ Level Grades:
(i) Grade 1-7 in English Language;
(ii) Grade 1-8 in Maths (Elementary/Additional) or Principles of Accounts;
(iii) Grade 1-7 in one other subject
Applicants must have sat for Maths (Elementary/Additional).
OR
Nitec in Services qualifications; or
Nitec (Business/Services Skills); or
WPLN5 in Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing and Numeracy, and 1 year of relevant work experience; or
Completed four Foundation modules

Applicants who do not meet the above entry requirements will need to complete Foundation modules before taking Core/Specialisation modules.
Entry requirements for Foundation modules:
2 GCE 'O' Level Grades (Grade 1-8) in any two subjects; or
3 GCE 'N' Level Passes (Grade A-D or Grade 1-5) in English Language and two other subjects; or
WPLN5 in Speaking and Listening, and WPLN4 in Reading, Writing and Numeracy
