System Administration
About This Course
On completion of the module, students should be able to set up server operating systems and perform system administration tasks such as user management, resource management and performance monitoring. Students should also be able to configure file server services and implement basic system security.

Entry Requirements
3 GCE ‘O’ Level Grades:
(i) Grade 1-8 in English Language;
(ii) Grade 1-7 in Mathematics (Elementary/Additional);
(iii) Grade 1-8 in one of the approved Science subjects.
OR
Nitec in Technology qualifications; or
Nitec qualifications (Technical Skills); or
Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing and Numeracy, and one year relevant work experience; or
Completed 4 Foundation modules

Applicants who do not meet the above entry requirements will need to complete Foundation modules before taking Core/Specialisation modules.
Entry requirements for Foundation modules:
Completed GCE 'O' Level; or
Completed GCE 'N' Level; or
Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking and Listening, and Level 4 in Reading and Numeracy.
Applicants must be free from colour appreciation deficiency.
