Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Prototyping – Advanced
About This Course
This advanced course is tailored for engineers and professionals in the fields of manufacturing, digital electronics, rapid Proof of Concept (POC) using Field Programmable Gate Array (FGPA) and design automation. Learners will be equipped with fundamental knowledge of FGPA and the essential practical skills to use FGPA. This knowledge will support learners in their learning and the mastering of advanced manufacturing, and proof of concept of designs. Utilising contemporary platforms, learners will hasten the verification process prior to manufacturing, creating an agile bridge between digital Integrated Circuit (IC) Design and production. This course is intended for those intending to upskill for a career in the manufacturing or digital electronics industry.
What You'll Learn
At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- Explain architecture of FPGA
- Perform FPGA design and modelling
- Perform FPGA high-level synthesis
- Perform FPGA logic synthesis
- Perform FPGA physical synthesis
Entry Requirements
This programme is suitable for learners who wish to join or progress within the Engineering Services in the manufacturing/digital electronics industry. Prior knowledge in digital design flow, logic design, logical implementation, design verification and design for test will be an advantage.
