About This Course

By the end of the course, participants are able to: list the roles and responsibilities of caregivers, recognise that different care settings have specific requirements and challenges for the care recipients and caregivers, recognise the advantages of drawing up care plans within the family (involving the MDW), communicate and mobilise family members acknowledging family dynamics, understanding the progression of disease and its impact on care recipient and caregivers, gain first hand experience at a psychiatric ward (by participating in simple singalong/ craft session)
