About This Course

The Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Clinical Specialty) courses will be offered full-time in 3 Post-diploma Certificates (PDCs) over 7 months (30 weeks). Total curriculum is 790 hours comprising 390 hours of academic studies and 400 of clinical practice.  The following PDCs are covered under this programme:

PDC 1: Post-Diploma Certificate in Principles and Science of Emergency Nursing-ADEM1 (225 hours)
PDC 2: Post-Diploma Certificate in Advanced Concepts in Emergency Nursing-ADEM1 (165 hours)
PDC 3: Post-Diploma Certificate in Practice of Emergency Nursing-ADEM1 (400 hours)

What You'll Learn

The Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Emergency) is designed to provide the academic and clinical preparation for registered nurses to practise in emergency nursing. This course will provide graduates with a recognised tertiary qualification, and a career in emergency nursing in a variety of public and private healthcare settings.

Entry Requirements

• Diploma in Nursing from a local Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification;
• Singapore Nursing Board registration;
• 2 years post registration experience with a minimum of 1 year in the discipline of study.
