About This Course
On completion of the module, students should be able to have a good overview of the principles of retail merchandising. Students should be able to determine target market, maintain inventory and supplier databases, assist in obtaining quotations, following up with suppliers and compute various pricing.

Entry Requirements
3 GCE ‘O’ Level Grades:
(i) Grade 1-7 in English Language;
(ii) Grade 1-8 in Maths (Elementary/Additional) or Principles of Accounts;
(iii) Grade 1-7 in one other subject
OR
Relevant Nitec qualifications (Business / Services); or
Relevant Nitec in Services qualifications (Business / Services); or
Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing and Numeracy, and one year relevant work experience; or
Completed four Foundation modules

Applicants who do not meet the above entry requirements will need to complete Foundation modules before taking Core/Specialisation modules.

Completed GCE 'O' Levels; or
Completed GCE 'N' Levels; or
Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking and Listening, and Level 4 in Reading and Numeracy; or
Relevant ITE Skills Certificate (ISC); or
Nitec qualification (non-related); or
Nitec in Services qualifications (non-related)
