About This Course
On completion of the module, students should be able to gain an overview of the event industry to determine the event objectives and the genres, categorise the scale and structure of local and international events, and map out the planning stages for a successful event.

Entry Requirements
3 GCE ‘O’ Level Grades:
(i) Grade 1-7 in English Language;
(ii) Grade 1-8 in Maths (Elementary/Additional) or Principles of Accounts;
(iii) Grade 1-7 in one other subject
OR
Relevant Nitec qualifications (Business / Services); or
Relevant Nitec in Services qualifications (Business / Services); or
Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing and Numeracy, and one year relevant work experience; or
Completed four Foundation modules

Applicants who do not meet the above entry requirements will need to complete Foundation modules before taking Core/Specialisation modules.
Entry requirements for Foundation modules:
2 GCE 'O' Level Grades (Grade 1-8) in any two subjects; or
3 GCE 'N' Level Passes (Grade A-D or Grade 1-5) in Mathematics or Science and two other subjects; or
Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking and Listening, and Level 4 in Reading and Numeracy
