About This Course
On completion of the module, students should be able to differentiate the four pillars of the MICE industry i.e. meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions. They should be able to determine the key purpose of having conference and exhibitions, the impact it has for the country, and also be able to plan an event programme, coordinate basic logistics activities and observe industry trends and practices in the MICE industry.

Entry Requirements
3 GCE ‘O’ Level Grades:
(i) Grade 1-7 in English Language;
(ii) Grade 1-8 in Maths (Elementary/Additional) or Principles of Accounts;
(iii) Grade 1-7 in one other subject
OR
Relevant Nitec qualifications (Business / Services); or
Relevant Nitec in Services qualifications (Business / Services); or
Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing and Numeracy, and one year relevant work experience; or
Completed four Foundation modules

Applicants who do not meet the above entry requirements will need to complete Foundation modules before taking Core/Specialisation modules.
Entry requirements for Foundation modules:
2 GCE 'O' Level Grades (Grade 1-8) in any two subjects; or
3 GCE 'N' Level Passes (Grade A-D or Grade 1-5) in Mathematics or Science and two other subjects; or
Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking and Listening, and Level 4 in Reading and Numeracy
