Foundations of Data Science: Python and SQL
About This Course
This course introduces learners to database, Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python data science libraries. By the end of the module, learners should have a solid understanding of database fundamentals, data modeling, advanced Structured Query Language (SQL), data transformation with Numpy and Pandas, exploratory data analysis, database connectors and data visualisation.
What You'll Learn
- Explain the fundamentals of databases, Structured Query Language (SQL), and Python data science libraries.
- Apply Structured Query Language (SQL) commands to create, manipulate, and query
relational databases.
- Analyse datasets using Python libraries such as NumPy and Pandas for data transformation and exploratory data analysis.
- Evaluate data quality and perform data cleaning techniques to prepare datasets for analysis.
- Create effective data visualizations using various Python libraries to communicate insights from data.
