Advanced Training for Oil Tanker Cargo Operations (Classroom & Synchronous)
About This Course
The course aims at providing training at an advanced level for personnel engaged in sea transport sector such as Masters, Chief Engineer Officers, Chief Mates, Second Engineer Officers (Special Limits as well as international voyages) and any person onboard oil tankers who have immediate responsibility for the loading, discharging, care in transit, handling of cargo, tank cleaning or other cargo-related operations on oil tankers. The course is approved by ‘Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore’ (MPA) to meet all the requirements under Seafarers' Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) convention Chapter V, Section A-V/1-1 para 2. This certificate is pre-requisite to obtain ‘Dangerous Cargo Endorsement’ (DCE) from MPA. DCE is a mandatory document for Senior shipboard officers and engineers.

Entry Requirements
Participants must have completed a basic fire fighting training recognised by Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), and have relevant experience appropriate to their duties on oil tankers.
