About This Course
Upon completing this course, learners will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to lead and conduct audits of Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) in alignment with ISO 22301. They will understand key concepts of crisis management, business impact analysis, and recovery strategies. Learners will be able to plan, execute, and report on audits, assess an organization’s business continuity capabilities, identify nonconformities, and recommend improvements. Additionally, they will gain the ability to communicate audit results effectively and support continuous improvement of BCMS processes, ensuring resilience against disruptions.

- Allocate resources to evaluate critical crisis activities, ensuring they align with recovery and BC strategies.
- Assess crisis response activities to verify compliance with ISO 22301.
- Document audit evidence and assess the effectiveness of crisis response and recovery processes.
- Interview stakeholders and review BCMS implementation documentation to justify the potential gaps and improvement opportunities in BC strategies.
- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings and actionable improvements.
- Present audit findings to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and ISO 22301 compliance.
- Design and execute a communication strategy to address audit outcomes and crisis management improvements.
- Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement procedures in line with the CMP and ISO 22301.
- Allocate resources for follow-up assessments to ensure compliance with ISO 22301.
Entry Requirements
• Aged 21 and above;
• Have minimum GCE “N”, “O” or “A” Level / NITEC or a diploma qualification and minimum 1 year of working experience; and
• Have an English language proficiency equivalent or higher of any of the following - GCSE N/O Levels pass in English / WPLN Level 5 / IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL (internet based total) 46-59.
