About This Course
This module covers front-end web development and front-end frameworks.
Front-end web development is the development of the graphical user interface of a website so users can view and interact with that website. Front-end frameworks are collections of pre-written code and tools that help developers build the graphical user interface of a website so users can view and interact with that website.
This module trains participants in the fundamentals of front-end programming languages such as HTML and CSS. In addition, participants will be able to effectively code using one or more front-end frameworks and become a competent front-end developer.
What You'll Learn
By the end of the module, participants will be able to:
1. Explain the basics of Web Technology.
2. Create graphical user interfaces using Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheet (CSS).
3. Illustrate the use of web media on web pages.
4. Create a graphical user interface using a front-end framework.
5. Integrate JavaScript to a graphical user interface to enhance user interactivity.
Entry Requirements
Higher NITEC or Diploma, and Basic Programming knowledge or Certificate of Completion in (Micro-Credential) Fundamentals of Programming
