About This Course
In the information age, many courses or training programmes traditionally conducted in the physical venue are re-designed and conducted online to meet the needs of adult learners who often have to balance their work demands with social lives. The Covid-19 pandemic has also accelerated teaching and learning to be conducted online or in a blended approach. This course explores issues of e-learning design, instructional strategies to engage online students, and the design and development considerations of online learning environments. Learners will not only be able to describe the pros and cons of e-learning models, they will also be exposed to designing a blended learning and e-learning environment with appropriate learning technologies and instructional strategies.
