Fernvale Primary School is a government school committed to nurturing students to become confident persons, self-directed learners, and concerned citizens. The school's vision is to be a "Community of Inspired Learners, Leaders of Character," and its educational philosophy is guided by its core values of respect, responsibility, resilience, integrity, care, and harmony.

The school provides a holistic education with a strong focus on character development and innovation. Its Applied Learning Programme (ALP) is in environmental science and sustainable living, fostering a sense of responsibility towards the planet. Established on 3 January 2005, Fernvale Primary School was officially opened in July 2007.
