Singapore's newest and "first smart and sustainable town," Tengah is currently under development and envisioned as a "forest town." The community will be pioneering, made up of new homeowners, and the lifestyle will be centered on green living, technology, and community interaction.

Central Park: A large park that will be the green heart of the town. Forest Corridor: A 5km-long, 100m-wide ecological corridor that will connect the Western Water Catchment Area and the Central Catchment Nature Reserve. Unique Characteristics

Tengah's unique identity is its groundbreaking concept as a "forest town" deeply integrated with nature. It is the first HDB town to be designed with smart technologies from the ground up and will be "car-lite," with underground roads in the town centre, prioritizing walking, cycling, and public transport.[31]
