About This Course
At the end of the two-day workshop, participants will be able to:
1.Understand the importance of using observation, documentation and assessment to make intentional decisions about the development of infants & toddlers as described in the Early Years Development Framework (EYDF).
2.Identify the appropriate observation, documentation and assessment methods suitable for infant & toddler classrooms.
3.Apply suitable documentation and assessment methods to determine strengths and identify needs as well as plan for meaningful learning experiences for infants & toddlers.
4.Develop reflective skills through observing, documenting and assessing infants’ and toddlers’ development and learning .
What You'll Learn
This training session will equip the participants with the basic knowledge on the importance and skills in observing young children. It will also provide them with opportunities to practice their observations skills and make comparisons about their findings, as well as developing a simple individual programme. Participants are encouraged to develop reflective skills through this workshop on observation and planning for infants and toddlers.
