About This Course
Learners will be given a structured framework to effectively identify root causes of the deficiency, allow managers to generate practical ideas with their teams or department, and identify the most effective solution to implement through further evaluation. Aside from the framework, the training will also instill in learners the principles of conducting appropriate group facilitation techniques. Learners will also learn how to apply the right type of decision-making model to get to the preferred solution. Lastly, learners will learn how to evaluate the effectiveness of the implemented solution and develop a corrective action plan to address any shortfalls identified.

Entry Requirements
For the learners to be enrolled in this course, he/she will be screened for the following:
• Speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5
• Manipulate numbers at a proficiency level not lower than the ES WSQ Workplace Numeracy level 5
• Have at least a Diploma qualification or equivalent
The desired learners are assumed to:
• Be able to apply and contextualise skills and knowledge in a broad range of high level technical and professional work activities in a wide variety of contexts
• Have a sound understanding of theoretical concepts in a field of study
• Have a substantial degree of individual accountability and autonomy within broad boundaries
• Be able to pre-empt and/or address emergent and non-routine problems through well-deliberated guidelines
