About This Course
1. Identify, explain and apply the relevant WSH Legislations / Approved Code of Practices / Singapore Standards applicable to Work-at-Heights
2. Identify and explain the Roles & Responsibilities of Stakeholders, Competent Person and Responsible Person
3. Identify hazards, evaluate the risk, and implement control measures for WAH activities
4. Review the necessary fall preventive / protective control measures for safe execution of work at height
5. Establish, evaluate, review and implement a Fall Prevention Plan
6. Establish and implement a system for an effective monitoring and control of WAH risks
7. Don, check and correct Individual Fall Protection Equipment and Response to a fall emergency

Entry Requirements
The trainees are mainly Scaffolding supervisors from the Construction Industry. They would have a minimum of Employability Skills (ES) Workplace Literacy level 4 and above. They are also able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES Workplace Numeracy level 4 and above. They would also have to have the ability to carry out hazards identification, risk assessment, and risk control measures.
