About This Course
At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Advise peers on the balance between duty of self-care and duty to perform
- Model effective self-care strategies, practices and techniques regarding boundaries and stress management
- Advise staff in practising effective self-care to prevent signs of burnout
- Remain objective and professional in emotionally challenging situations through personal reflection and perspectives-taking
- Monitor staff for signs of burnout and refer to emotional and practical support systems, approaches and resources

Entry Requirements
For the learners to be enrolled in this course, he/she will be screened for the following:
• Literacy and numeracy capabilities equivalent to level 5 and above as stated in the ES WSQ framework
• Diploma or degree qualification
• At least 2 years of working experience
• Full-time employment and supported by the employer
