Mixing Music Professionally in Your Home Studio
About This Course
By the end of the course, learners will be able to use a digital audio workstation to apply a range of professional sound mixing techniques to mix a music track for publication and distribution.
While there are many freelance music producers, feedback from industry stakeholders reflect a lack of formal training, which hinders their ability to work on larger scale commercial projects both specifically for the music industry or for applications in media and advertising. In providing training aligned with industry practices, the course will contribute to the raising of professional standards in the music industry. It will empower those who complete the course to take on projects from more established clients, collaborate with seasoned professionals and expand their reach internationally.
