At the end of the course, participants should understand, interpret and analyse financial statements of manufacturing/engineering entities. They will also appreciate the various techniques in managing working capital, preparing budgets and allocating cost across different departments. These skills will enable participants to comprehend the processes required to assess their companies' financial performance and make appropriate plans to enhance the business' financial health.

This course looks at the key accounting knowledge and skills needed by managers in the manufacturing and engineering sectors. It aims to equip middle and upper managers with the relevant knowledge in financial and managerial accounting needed to make well-informed decisions.
